Margrét Rán Magnúsdóttir is an Icelandic singer, producer, and emerging film composer, celebrated for her versatile artistry. She is the founding member of the dream-pop band Vök and a member of the legendary electronic group GusGus. Under the name RÁN, she is still exploring her creative direction as a solo artist, while using her own name for film composition.

Known for her distinctive voice and innovative soundscapes, Margrét has gained widespread recognition in the music industry. In addition to writing multiple albums and singles for her bands, she has composed music for documentaries, commercials, and collaborations with international artists.
